Financial donations will help our local partners to continue their vital work supporting vulnerable residents and families, tackling the issues of food poverty, mental health and wellbeing, domestic violence, loneliness and isolation to continue the vital support to vulnerable residents and families.

Giving a little can make a big difference to those who need support this winter.

    Communities Activities Project Ealing (CAPE)

CAPE mental health charity supports adults living in Ealing who experience severe and enduring mental health issues. We offer ongoing support services to clients with a range of conditions that are either severe, highly disabling, and/or psychotic in nature.

    Our wishlist

We are asking for sponsorship of a full time Psychological Support practitioner for two years = £59,992.

    Why we need this

Prior to lock down the referrals to our services had increased by 220%. We have continued to provide virtual services throughout, but now need to work with the 89 people on our waiting list. Our teams are already working at capacity and we need to re-open our referral routes and this post would enable us to meet the needs of those with long term enduring mental health needs in Ealing. CAPE mental health charity supports adults living in Ealing who experience severe and enduring mental health issues. We offer ongoing support services to clients with a range of conditions that are either severe, highly disabling, and/or psychotic in nature. Clinical presentations we typically work with include trauma-induced complex depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders and PTSD. Our one to one  support helps people get on the road to recovery. We do this by fostering greater self-identity, interests, coping mechanisms and sense of independence and emotional resilience. With our help, people are better equipped to make the possibility of recovery and living a more meaningful life a reality. We support people to improve their lives and to have as much independence and stability as possible.
